THE next lunchtime recital at the Rachel Fowler Centre, off Melksham Market Place, will be on Thursday the 13th October and will feature Maria Danishvar.
Maria is from Ukraine but is long settled in the South West of England. She has a beautiful soprano voice and, accompanied by Nicholas Stuart, will be singing some favourite songs inspired by love and nature.
The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45-minutes. Light refreshments are available from noon. There is no charge, but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always welcomed.
Two weeks later, on the 27th October they welcome back John Gutteridge, a bass baritone and a popular performer.
