THE community is invited to next week’s Melksham Community Expo to find out more about the support local groups and organisations offer the town.
At the event, hosted by Melksham Town Council, visitors will also be able to browse stalls and hear more about volunteering opportunities within the community. There will be approximately 30 groups at the event, including the Melksham Christmas Lights Group, Party in the Park, and Melksham Read Easy.
“Come and find out what’s happening in your community,” said community engagement manager for the town council, Debbie Bentley.
Also at the event, the town council will make its annual presentation of grants to local groups, organisations and events.
The Melksham Community Expo takes place on Friday 20th September at the Assembly Hall. Doors will open to the public at 6.30pm. The Assembly Hall bar will also be open.
