MELKSHAM Carnival with have its own programme for the first time in four years as organisers hope to “enhance the enjoyment of the day.”
The programme will be used to inform revellers of details of this year’s carnival procession including times and route, forms for the popular ‘Spot the Oddity’ competition, photographs of the Carnival royality 2013 and details and photographs of the new Carnival royalty 2014, as well as details and photographs from this year’s bonniest baby competition.
Beth Dark secretary for Melksham Carnival said, “We wanted to improve the overall aspect of the day and enhance the enjoyment people have. We felt it was a good opportunity for those that come along to see what will be involved in this year’s competition and where the route will go. It will also have useful things like the Spot the Oddity entry forms and details of the Carnival royalty.”
The programmes will be available across the town with details to follow nearer the Carnival which takes place on Saturday 12th July.
The publication will be folded A4 with advertisement rates priced at £25 for 125mm x 87mm and £50 for 180mm x 125mm.
