Melksham Cubs had a very special visit from the Wiltshire Bobby Van recently.
The Wiltshire Bobby Van is a trust which provides advice and victim support for elderly and vulnerable people across Wiltshire. Over the course of the evening the cubs met one of the vehicle’s operators who told them all about the work he does with people in the community. He also showed them many of the items given out to people to protect them from crime.
As the Bobby Van receives no funding and runs purely on voluntary time and donations the cubs will be doing some fundraising work for the trust after they return from the summer holiday break in September.
