Could you help your community? Melksham & District Link urgently need volunteers, particularly drivers who are car owners, to transport local people who are mostly senior citizens, to hospitals and GP surgeries.
This is a voluntary job and you choose the hours, times and days to suit you. A fuel allowance is paid for each mile covered.
The journeys can be local such as Melksham, Chippenham and Trowbridge, or further afield to Bath, Bristol, Oxford, Salisbury and Swindon. You decide whether you wish to do local trips only, long distance only, or both. This is a much valued service to the community which is now in its 20th year of operation.
