The Melksham Gardeners’ Society had a talk from Ray Broughton on herbaceous plants.
The club reports, “Mr. Broughton is a returning speaker and gave us all many tips regarding our herbaceous borders, pests and how to deal with them and a run through of some favourite plants. A big thank you to Ray for another entertaining talk – reiterating his now infamous information about ketchup. If you would like to know more, please look at our website or Facebook.
“The next meeting will be on Tuesday 25th February at the Rachel Fowler Centre at 7.30pm, when we will have a talk by Peter Ingram, from the Painted Tongues Nursery, about propagating, seeds and layering; just in time for the growing season!
“New members and guests are always welcome with our annual membership with the price staying at £10 for 2020 – this has stayed the same for a few years, so is incredibly good value.
