THE annual Melksham Open Gardens will be held this month as 14 gardeners in the town open up their gardens to the public to raise money for charity.
Organiser Lesley Windebank says, “14 of Melksham’s wonderful gardeners are again opening their gardens to visitors on the afternoon of Sunday 24th July.
“This is becoming a regular and popular feature in Melksham’s eventful summer programme and raises a lot of money for The Children’s Society.
“Tickets for the gardens cost £5 and are available in advance from the Town Hall and the Tourist Information Centre. On the Sunday itself, tickets will be sold from the steps of the Town Hall. There is no charge for children. Cream teas will be available from Place Road as usual.”
