MELKSHAM is amongst the top ten towns in the country to see the biggest surges in property sales since 2007.
Recent statistics revealed by the Land Registry show Melksham as having the joint seventh highest property sale increase nationally from 2007-2014. The 7% increase Melksham has seen also means the town has the highest increase in property sales in the South-West.
The impressive sales figures in Melksham is further highlighted by the fact only 12 towns nationally have actually seen an increase in sales from 2007 (pre-recession) until 2014.
Melksham could move further up the table in the coming years with over 1,000 new homes still planned for the town.
