Melksham RAFA held their annual barbecue at Sue and Tony’s home on the 28th July.
Organisers say, “Although it was one of our bad weather days we’d had this summer, it was attended by many friends and RAFA members. We had numerous raffle prizes donated by many shops in Melksham, so would like to thank these businesses for their support. W.J. Beaven butchers, for his donation of the meat, Kev Beadle at Wiltshire Framing, Cobbler’s Bench, Ma Maison, The Sultan, Andy York, Bell on the Common and Leigh Park Hotel for their prizes.
“A grand total of £500 was raised for RAFA Wings Appeal.”
A charity night at Sultan in Melksham will be held on 13th September (book your table either with Sue 707514, or Sultan £15pp).
