Have you got a new year’s resolution to get more involved in your community, but don’t know where to start? – Then Melksham Rotary could be for YOU.
Melksham Rotary raised over £15,000 last year for local and international good causes, as well as organising events in the community to help develop young people’s skills.
Sarah Hiscocks, president elect, Rotary Club of Melksham explained, “We do this with both volunteer help in our Rotary Art House Café and by arranging events at monthly club meetings – at which you will meet people with similar ideals and strike up lasting friendships.
“We offer an informal open invitation if you would like to find out more about Melksham Rotary, to come along to the Art House Café to be our guest for a cup of tea and cake; drop in on Saturday 10th January from 2.00pm until 3.30pm. Take that next step, and drop in or contact Bruce Sanders on 07706 059365 for more information, we are looking forward to meeting you.
“We also have a web site where you can find more information about some of what we have done recently, you can also find us on facebook.”
