Melksham Seniors 55+ Forum will be hosting an afternoon film screening at the Melksham Assembly Hall later this month.
On Monday 17th November, there will be a showing of the drama film ‘A Passage to India’. Staring Alec Guiness, James Fox and Nigel Havers the story follows a cultural mistrust and with it false accusations doom a friendship in British colonial India between an Indian doctor, an Englishwoman engaged to marry a city magistrate, and an English educator.
The doors will open at 1pm, with a sing along at 1.15pm and the film starts at 2pm. Christmas party tickets will also be available for those who registered. Any surplus Christmas party tickets will be made available to the public after 24th November by application to Brian Warwick.
