THIS year’s Spot the Oddity winners have been announced with Andy York and some of the carnival committee on hand to present the prizes.
The competition was held throughout July and required entrants to spot oddities in the windows of Melksham’s shops. The winners of Spot the Oddity 2014 was Charlie, Louis and Maisie Adams of Bowerhill who won a cash prize of £50 and shop vouchers for Candy Jax, Honeys, CJ’s Café and Andy York Photography.
One of the organisers, Beth Dark said, “It has been a fantastic competition with some really good entries. We were very impressed with those that scored so highly as we had many taking part. It’s good to bring the community into the town centre for a bit of fun and we are very thankful for everyone that took part and to the businesses that supported us.”
