HAYLEY Spencer has been elected on to Melksham Town Council after she came out on top in last week’s poll.
The Liberal Democrat received 511 votes whilst John Stewart for the Conservatives received 250 votes. The turnout was 20.76 per cent.
Speaking to the Melksham News after her election cllr Spencer said, “It feels great to be elected, and I hope that it means I’ll be able to be an active voice on the council for residents and businesses in the central area. The town council already does great work, and I’m excited to join and add my efforts, and discover new opportunities to help with, develop and promote!”
