THE next monthly Town Tidy day will be held on Sunday 7th November, meeting outside the Town Hall at 1 – 3pm.
Organisers say, “All ages and abilities are welcome, come along and make a difference in our town. If you know of an area that could do with a good litter pick, come along, get the gear and then feel satisfaction when the litter has gone.
“Another date for your diary is Sunday 21st November, again 1-3pm. This time we need some strong volunteers; behind the Factory Shop there are three beds that have overgrown shrubs in them, and at the back of the car park there is a bed that needs some shrubs.
“The idea is that the shrubs are transplanted from the overly full area to the bare area, making this long bed more attractive. It’s behind the coach parking bays and we need to show a good face for our town. So, come along and lend your arms as a one-off event!”
