Melksham Town and Melksham Without Councils have applied to Wiltshire Council to have a Joint Neighbourhood Plan for their two parishes.
This important planning document will involve the whole community in shaping Melksham’s future in terms of where future housing is built, transport infrastructure; recreation, the environment and community facilities.
There will be six weeks’ consultation shortly to let the residents of Melksham have their say about the proposed boundaries for the Joint Neighbourhood Plan.
