MELKSHAM Seniors is screening three movies in the coming weeks at the Assembly Hall.
‘Monday Movies’ will be showing the will first be screening ‘Mrs Lowry & Son’ on Monday 21st February, 2pm at the Assembly Hall.
“A chance to see one of the new British films telling the story of the renown northern painter Lowry,” says Terri Welch on behalf of the Seniors.
“For March, both films are both light-hearted and perfect entertainment for a Monday afternoon.
“‘The Song for Marion’ has a stellar cast including Terence Stamp, Christopher Eccleston with Vanessa Redgrave – this is on Monday 7th March.
“And on Monday 21st we will be screening, ‘The Last Bus’ – this film follows the journey around the British Isles of a husband carrying his late wife’s ashes. All on his bus pass.
“So come along, bring your mug and join us with interval refreshments.”
Doors open at 1.30pm, and films start at 2pm.
