MELKSHAM’s Monster Ball, held at The Assembly Hall on Saturday 28th October was a huge success!
This year’s sell-out Melksham Monster Ball, organised by Melksham Music Festival in association with Melksham Assembly Hall, was a thriller of a night. Everyone came in spooktacular fancy dress, which gave competition judge, Mayor of Melksham cllr Adrienne Westbrook, a hard task to pick group winners.
The packed evening entertainment started with a disco and games for the younger children, and a stage performance by In2dance, under eights’ dance troupe, dancing to a medley of Halloween hits.
The show finale began with dance coach, Kim Rimmer, and the In2dance over eights’ dance troupe dancing to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’. This was then followed by other Michael Jackson songs sung and danced to by top tribute artist, Sascha Pazdera who travelled from Germany to be there on the night.
Bruce Burry, Monster Ball organiser said, “Melksham Music Festival would like to thank everyone who helped make the Monster Ball a great success, with a special thank you to Kim Rimmer for her time and patience that paid off in two show-stopper dance routines, and to all that came and supported us. We hope to see you next year.”
The fundraising total has yet to be confirmed.
