Melksham United Church is excited to announce that Christian singer/songwriter and recording artist Dan Holmes will be coming to perform at the church in Melksham High Street opposite Lloyd’s Bank on Thursday 24th July.
Natalie Willis, on behalf of Melksham United Church said, “Dan Holmes is an outstanding acoustic guitar player who brings a gentle Christian message to his music. He sings about the events and experiences that happen along life’s way.
“Dan has a gift for reaching and moving people with his down to earth Christian message and his unique blend of musical styles. His music will move you, inspire you, make you smile, touch you! Dan is an ‘old school singer/songwriter’ who has written heartfelt ballads, great blues tunes, and joyous sing-a-longs. He is currently promoting his new CD, ‘Something That Matters’, which was released in December of 2012. No matter the song, you will enjoy and remember a performance by Dan Holmes! “The proceeds for the concert will go half to the charity MEDAIR and half towards the church organ fund. Tickets are available from The Melksham Tourist Information Office or at the door of the church on the night. Cost: Adults – £5.00 per ticket. Children under 18 go free but need a ticket.
