Melksham News has welcomed a new reporter to its team.
Laura Dunham has an English language, creative writing and journalism degree and a Master’s degree in multimedia journalism. She has previously worked in a public relations agency and in the voluntary and charity sector for several years, supporting teams working closely with communities to make a difference. Laura is also a trained yoga instructor.
Laura said, “I am thrilled to have this opportunity to work as a local news journalist with the Melksham News, I am extremely pleased to be able to link my passions of working with communities and sharing stories.”
“I have only been with the team for a week so far and I have received such a warm welcome from my new colleagues and those in the town. I have already been involved in covering Ukraine Independence Day celebrations in Melksham and the GCSE results. It’s been really fun – I cannot wait to do more!”
