DAISYCHAIN Nursery has raised over £1,700 for a local children’s hospice.
The nursery raised the money by organising a number of sponsored walks last month. Money raised has been donated to Julia’s House Hospice in Devizes, which offers support to local families of life-limited and life-threatened children.
“The hospice helps these families to access the help they need, when and where they need it,” said a spokesperson for Daisychain. “They make sure every member of the family feels supported, valued, cherished.”
About the sponsored walk they said, “We had an amazing turn out of parents that joined us on every single walk throughout the week. We walked through the fields and woods at the back of the nursery, down to the farm and around Whitley village.”
