THE Pig and Whistle pub has live music, bingo and a charity quiz night coming up in the weeks ahead.
On Sunday 1st May, 4pm to 7pm, it’s eyes down for prize bingo with lots of prizes to be won – all been donated by local businesses. All proceeds raised will be donated to Dorothy House charity. Eyes down at 4pm.
On Wednesday 11th May, 7pm to 9pm, it’s time for the monthly charity quiz night. About the quiz, which is held on the second Wednesday of each month, the pub says, “Come and join us for a quiz full of great questions and random bonus rounds. £2.50 entry per person, teams of four – prizes for winners. All monies going to local charities, changing monthly.
“So grab your friends and families and come to test your knowledge at one of our monthly quizzes. Food served 5pm to 8pm – booking advised.”
Local band Plan of Action are back again for another Saturday night gig on 14th May, with more amazing live music that you won’t want to miss!
Plan of Action is a rock, blues and alternative covers and original band based in Melksham. They will be performing from 9pm to 11pm.
