Broughton Gifford Bowls Club plan to open the green for their new season on Thursday 13th April at 6.00pm, weather permitting.
The club says, “This is an ideal opportunity to have a little practice before the first game. If you would like to give bowls a try, then please come along and have a go. Our ladies and gentlemen members will only be too pleased to offer help and advice on the game and our club.
“Our green is situated in a beautiful, picturesque setting behind the Bell on the Common public house.
“Further details can be obtained from Vince and Sylvia on 01225 783332 or just come along between 6pm – 7.30pm. Just bring along flat soled footwear.”
