THE very popular programme of lunchtime recitals at the Rachel Fowler Centre will recommence on Thursday 16th September.
Organisers say, “We kick off with the well-known folk group, Curlew’s Cry, featuring three excellent musicians playing accordion, banjo, fiddle, guitar, piano and recorder.
“Two weeks later, on Thursday 30th September we can enjoy the lovely baritone voice of John Gutteridge from Bath. Theses recitals continue fortnightly into December. The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45 minutes.
“There is no charge but donations towards the expenses of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always welcomed. Light refreshments are available from noon. Please tell your friends and come along.”
