LOCAL people are being advised to report various issues in the county, ranging from abandoned vehicles to graffiti, on the MyWilts app.
You can use MyWilts to report issues in Wiltshire such as; abandoned vehicles, fraud, weather emergencies, fly tipping, dog mess, broken street lights, overgrown hedges and more.
Wiltshire councillor Suzanne Wickham praised the service for its rapid response, “One thing I’d like to bring attention to, is that local people can report any street issues, such as fly tipping, overgrown hedges or even a broken street light on the MyWilts app.
“This is the most efficient way to solve any issues you may have; I reported a broken pavement the other day in the morning and by the afternoon the team had come out and fixed the issue. It’s a really great system that I hope more people will use.
“You can supply as much info as possible to help support a report; you can even drop a pin for the specific location and add pictures and comments to try and spur the process on.”
You can download the MyWilts app from the App Store if you have an Apple device or on Google Play if you have an Android, by searching for ‘My Wilts’.
When you register for an account, you will receive updates as the case you report progresses. You will also have access to view your historical cases and able to access additional services, such as the Wiltshire Council Waste Forms.
