On Sunday 25th June, Armed Forces Day will be celebrated by the Seend Branch of the Royal British Legion by having a Drumhead Service on the Lye Field.
Organisers say, “The service will commence at 15:00 hrs, will last approximately 30 minutes and will be open to all comers, regardless of whether they are members of the Royal British Legion or not.
“Medals may be worn. The collection will be donated to the Royal British Legion. A limited amount of seating will be provided.
“On completion, light refreshments will be available in the pavilion for all those who have attended the service. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held in the Pavilion.”
