STAFF at Sampford Care Home in Melksham took part in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk in Corsham on Sunday 8th September to prove they are willing to go that extra mile or four for the residents at their home.

Helen said, “Everyone has at some point in their life felt a moment of complete panic and fear when they’ve found themselves in an unfamiliar place and surrounded by unfamiliar things….well…..imagine feeling like that every day……feeling completely lost and disorientated and your own things and family seeming alien to you.
“This is what a person living with dementia feels on a daily basis and this is why we chose to do this memory walk.”
