MUSIC fans can continue to expect good things from Seend Acoustic Club, who have a bill packed with talent for the coming weeks. Organiser Andy Fawthrop takes a look at his upcoming acts.
Wednesday 1st April: Georgia Lewis & Friends. Andy said, “Exciting young Georgia brings not only a great voice and a multi-instrumental talent, but a great pair of supporting musicians on guitar and fiddle. Together they deliver both traditional and contemporary material.” Support from local favourite Phil Deverall. £4 entry. Floor singers welcome. 8pm.
Wednesday 15th April: Rob Lear Band. “A fantastic singer/ songwriter from over the Welsh border, and a man who has never failed to impress on his previous visits to the club, Rob has a wonderful voice, superb songs, and a great band behind him. We’re really looking forward to this one!” Support TBA. £4 entry. Floor singers welcome. 8pm
Sunday 26th April: The Cleverly Brothers – Music Cruise aboard Kenavon Venture, Devizes Wharf @ 7pm prompt. £14 including fish & chip supper. Advance tickets only from The Vaults, Devizes
Wednesday 6th May: Phil King – one of the best singer/ songwriters in the South West. Support TBA. £4. Floor singers welcome. 8pm
Sunday 10th May: Henry Priestman – Special concert from the ex-Christians, ex-Yachts singer/ songwriter in The Wharf Theatre, Devizes Wharf @ 6.45 pm. Support from Rob Lear. £7.50 advance/ £10 door. Tickets from Devizes Books and The Vaults, Devizes.
