Seend Fawlty Players decided to follow up their very successful February production of Snow White with an Oscars presentation evening on a small, but perfectly formed red carpet.
The Players said, “Some dressed for the occasion; some didn’t! Proceeds from the panto have bought a splendid multicoloured picnic table for the new play area on the Lye Field, and contributed towards a special motorised wheelchair for ex-Fawlty Player, Linzie Reason. Our next production is a St George’s Day and Shakespeare’s Birthday Party upstairs in Seend Community Centre on Tuesday 23rd April at 7.30pm. Tickets are available in Seend Shop/PO and in Seend Community Centre. £7 includes a buffet supper and some quirky entertainment.”
