Sylvia our president opened the meeting and welcomed us all on this very cold night.
Our meal at the Shaw Country Hotel in January was enjoyed by all. We welcomed our speaker who had come from Hungerford, speaking about ‘The relationship between feet and shoes’. She brought with her a large selection and explained in great detail the importance of having correct fitting shoes. She had trained to do this because she had large feet and found it difficult to get nice fashionable shoes. She was very passionate about this and has worked at this for the past 20 years, she runs her shop and also does online orders, well worth a trip to the shop I think. Jackie then thank Ellie Dickins who gave such a wonderful insight into the world of shoes.
The evening closed after refreshments, and our next meeting will be our AGM on the 8th March.
