WILTSHIRE Council has proposed to change the speed limit from 30mph to 40mph on the A3102 Sandridge Road.
The proposed speed limit change will affect the stretch of road from the new development on Thyme Road to the bottom of Sandridge Hill which runs past the former Forest and Sandridge School site.
Wiltshire Council said, “It is in the interests of highway safety to align the speed limit to the criteria set out in Department for Transport guidance.”
A consultation period will run until 18th January and comments on the proposal, quoting reference LJB/TRO/MELW can be made by email at trafficorders@wiltshire.gov.uk
