The treasurer for Broughton Gifford Pre-school is hoping to raise £15,000 to relocate the school and is taking part in a sponsored skydive to help achieve this goal.
Sherrie Harrington is hoping to get as much community involvement and donations as possible to raise the money needed.
She said, “Broughton Gifford Pre-school is currently in the process of applying for planning permission to build a wooden lodge in the grounds of St Mary’s School, so that our pre-school can relocate there. To help raise funds towards this, I have arranged a sponsored skydive for myself on Saturday 16th August. For any company willing to sponsor me £50 or more, I will have their name printed on to a t-shirt, which I will wear on the day.”
