THE White Hart in Atworth has a Sixties Story concert evening, live music, an open mic night, and monthly bike meet – all lined up for the weeks ahead.
On Sunday 3rd April, it’s the open mic night! The pub says, “Come on down and join us for open mic night here at The Hart, supporting new and raw talent, originals and covers and local musicians! It’s a fortnightly Sunday event starting from 5pm. For more details about playing, ask behind the bar, phone 01225 702274 or email: info@whitehartatworth.co.uk to register. Please bring your own mic if possible.”
On Saturday 10th April, from 5pm to 7pm, the pub is hosting ‘The Sixties Story’, a brand new live concert experience that will transport you back in time to pop’s grooviest decade!
Featuring two sets of classic 60s hits from the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Kinks, The Beach Boys and many more, The Sixties Story tells the tale of the swinging generation from Merseybeat to Mods and Rockers and to the Summer of Love and beyond. It’s one far out trip not to be missed!
On Friday 15th April there is live music from local band The Clones, from 9pm to 11pm.
The pub says, “They play the songs, you do the dancing – it’s times like these you learn to live again.”
On Tuesday 5th April, the pub is hosting its monthly bike meet for all 2 wheeler enthusiasts, from 7pm to 9pm.
The pub says, “Come on down to chat about all things bikes, grab a bite to eat, a beverage or just a chance to get out on your bike for a social. For more information please contact fellow villager and organiser Keith on: Keith@prosureinsuranceservices.co.uk.”
