CURVES in Avonside, Melksham, is waiving all services fees for new customers in March in their continued efforts to raise money for the fight against breast cancer.
Instead of the usual service fee, new members wanting to join the fitness centre for just women are asked to make a donation to the national charity, Breast Cancer Care.
Manager Sue Armstrong said, “This is a great opportunity for you to do something positive for yourself and also make a difference in the life of someone affected by breast cancer.”
The money raised during March will help towards the grand total, which will be announced in October after Breast Cancer Awareness Week. Staff and members of Curves participate in a number of exciting events to raise money during the special week. Last year the team raised £2,863, smashing the previous year’s amount by over £1,000.
Located at Avonside Enterprise Park, all women are welcome to come along and meet the team and try out the easy-to-use gym equipment. Please ring 793278 to make an appointment.
