TEN thousand bulbs are to be planted across the town by Melksham Town Council’s grounds team.
The bulbs include crocuses, snowdrops, bluebells, and daffodils, which will be planted in a number of locations including King George V Playing Field.
Plans to involve the community in planting the bulbs in the new sensory garden on the park had to be cancelled due to changing Covid-19 restrictions. Instead, town council will tackle the mammoth task themselves.
