A TOPS stylist was part of a team taking part on one of the biggest stages at a major hairdressing event.
Vic Stevens from Melksham joined the rest of the Fellowship of British Hairdressing Project X team in Manchester to present a model on the fellowship stage at Professional Hairdresser Live 2014.
The team was given a brief of ‘braided warrior’ and had only a few months to research where the braid originates and different types of warriors to come up with their own interpretation. Vic said, “It was pretty nerve wracking presenting your work to hundreds of hairdressers especially when you see some of your role models in the audience. My model was based on the Samburu warriors and we had a make-up team and stylist to also help pull the theme in altogether. Professional Hairdresser Live brings to life the information and ideas that drive this industry in the exciting and vibrant atmosphere of a live exhibition.”
Professional Hairdresser Live is an annual hairdressing exhibition and seminars hosted in Manchester.
