MELKSHAM Town Councillor, Caroline Andrewes has resigned from the council.
The councillor, who represents the North ward has cited her ‘increased disillusionment’ with the council, as well as personal commitments as her reasons for resigning.
Cllr Andrewes told Melksham News, “I have resigned from the town council for a combination of reasons. Family and work commitments, the fact we will be moving out of the area in the coming months and my increased disillusionment with the council as it stands. Unfortunately my limited capacity means I have not been able to be as active as I would have liked.”
