The next Town Tidy day is an important one as it comes the day before the Assessor is in Melksham judging the Royal Horticultural Society’s ‘In Your Neighbourhood’ competition.
“Although Melksham is not entering the main competition this year there are a number of the smaller areas that are being judged and, naturally, the assessor will drive through town on route to see these,” said Terri Welch from the Town Tidy team.
“So it is important that our town looks its best. So please come along and join in the tidy day. Meet at the Town Hall at 1pm we will be finished before 3pm. Equipment will be provided, just wear comfortable clothing.
“See you then!”
