DURING our May meeting, we welcomed two new members, Mandy Marshall and Sharon Gilbert.
After the formalities, we received a presentation by Youth Adventure Trust, who explained their work in youth development, supporting 11 to 16-year-olds in Wiltshire and Swindon through outdoor education.
Amongst other items on the agenda, our plans were discussed for this summer’s Spot the Golden Lion shop window competition, Picnic in The Park on 14th September and our October Charter Celebration, as well as our attendance at Melksham Town Football Club and Spencer’s Bowls Club’s family days.
If you would like to come and see what we do, we meet every second Monday of the month at The Kings Arms, Melksham, for a 7.15pm start. You would be more than welcome.
