70% of the UK population suffer with back pain at some point in their lives. This talk will cover simple anatomy, the different types of back pain, what can go wrong and how osteopathic treatment can help. These include disc prolapse, ligament sprain, muscle spasms and arthritis. Low back pain can also stem from other medical problems which will be covered briefly.
Sciatica, where the sciatic nerve at the base of the spine is compressed, is associated with low back pain. Find out more about this common but painful condition.
