Caspar Hull, osteopath at Melksham’s Lowbourne Osteopaths, is delivering a free informative talk on the various types of headaches, their classification and their osteopathic management
This talk will take place on Saturday 17th January 3-4pm at Lowbourne Osteopaths, 39 Lowbourne Melksham SN12 7ED
“Osteopaths are able to give advice and help with your headache symptoms,” explained Caspar. “Come along to discover what we can do for you.
“Primary headaches are one of the most common health complaints with more than 10 million sufferers, 80% of which are tension type headaches, 15% are migraines. There are also rarer ones like cluster headaches.
“Secondary headaches are secondary to other causes for example illnesses such as flus, colds infections and sinus problems, or are hormonal.
“In this short talk we will be exploring the causes of headaches and their predisposing and maintaining factors. We will offer insight into their management and will also explore some common causative factors like stress and musculo-skeletal problems that may be linked. We will also touch on when it is necessary to seek further advice from your doctor.”
