MELKSHAM’S Covid vaccination clinic is appealing for more volunteers to join their team.
Volunteer roles at the clinic based at Spencer’s Sports and Social Club, include helping in the car park, signposting patients, assisting with paperwork and delivering vaccines to vaccinators.
“The volunteer team are a great team and are key in making the clinics run smoothly,” explains Dr Abby Burgess on behalf of the Melksham and Bradford on Avon Primary Care Network (PCN). “You don’t need any qualifications or experience, just a desire to help and have fun at the same time. We are especially in need of help over the next two months whilst the spring booster programme is in full flow.
