NEW sessions encouraging residents to increase their physical activity have started at Melksham Community Campus.
The Get Out, Get Active (GOGA) sessions take place every Monday from 9.15am to 10.30am and are free to attend with all ages are welcome. They are organised by Wiltshire Council.
The council’s disability sports development officer, Rob Paget, said, “These sessions aim to increase sport and physical activity participation amongst a range of groups, prioritising the least active, individuals with a disability and anyone who may benefit from the positive physical, social and mental benefits associated with physical activity.
“The aim is to work with the local community and deliver activities they want to take part in, be it led walks, walking sports, seated sports, or any general physical activity.”
