Melksham Town Council is asking residents for feedback on the 13 parks and play areas in Melksham that it manages, including the park / King George V Playing Field.
The council is considering the future of recreational facilities in the area and would like to know what residents want to see in our parks, green spaces and playgrounds.
Have your say by completing a short survey (online or paper)
Feedback received so far has included comments about toilets, a café, shade, play equipment, dogs, wildflowers, benches and bins among other things.
The survey covers all 13 areas that Melksham Town Council is responsible for – King George V Playing Field, Awdry Avenue, Dorset Crescent, Dunch Lane, Foresters Park, Hazelwood Road, Lewington Close, Methuen Ave, Primrose Drive, Riverside Drive, Speedwell Close, Spring Meadows and The Woody (alongside Clacker’s Brook from Lowbourne to Queensway).
There is a short online survey on the council’s website at www.melksham-tc.gov.uk or you can pick up a paper copy at the Town Hall in the Market Place.
All responses need to be in before 30th September. For more information contact townhall@melksham-tc.gov.uk or call 01225 704187.
