The Melksham Assembly Hall has a fun-filled lineup of entertainment during January and February from the return of the town’s popular Forbidden Nights to a comedy night featuring Sarah Pascoe.
Forbidden Nights – Friday 30th January
As seen on Britain’s Got Talent, the male variety show Forbidden Nights returns to Melksham with the usual spectacular acrobatics, dance, fire and excitement they have made their signature over the last 10-plus years.
Organisers say, “Whether you’re just looking for an excuse to let loose, celebrating a birthday or planning a sensational hen party, look no further.
“This show is not only hot, it’s hilarious. This isn’t just a typical show; get ready to dive right in and interact like never before. Each ticket includes a free meet and greet cast photo opportunity.
“This is a 15-and-over show. No one under 15 will be admitted.”
Laughter Craft Comedy Night – Saturday 31st January
Three top TV comedians are set to perform in Melksham including Sara Pascoe, as seen on Live at the Apollo and Last One Laughing, Felicity Ward from The Office, and Andrew Maxwell from Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week.
Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £20.
We Three Kings of Rock n Roll – Saturday 7th February
This tribute night celebrates legends of Rock n Roll, including Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley.
Expect hits including Roy Orbison’s ‘In Dreams’ and ‘I Drove all Night; Buddy Holly’s ‘Heartbeat’, ‘It Doesn’t Matter Anymore’, ‘Peggy Sue’ and ‘True Love Ways.’
Elvis Presley fans will be treated to lots of classics including ‘Suspicious Minds’ and ‘That’s all-right Mama’ plus more.
The show starts at 7.30pm.
Majesty – a tribute to Queen – Friday 13th February
The renowned Queen tribute act is returning to Melksham following a previous sold-out performance.
Organisers say, “The band will deliver an electrifying show that promises to capture the essence of the legendary group.”
