MELKSHAM Assembly Hall has a variety of events coming up throughout May with the return of the record fair, an evening of mediumship and a tribute act playing the iconic hits of Pink Floyd.
Melksham RecordFair – Sunday 12th May, from 10am
Head on down to the Melksham Record Fair for first issues, reissues, classics and rare or unusual finds.
“There will be plenty of vinyl here for casual newbies and seasoned collectors alike, plus CDs, tapes and merch,” says the Assembly Hall.
Evening of Mediumship with psychic medium Nikki Kitt – Friday, May 17th May, 7.30pm
“Psychic Medium Nikki Kitt is a spiritualist medium who is currently touring the UK with her psychic / mediumship evenings,” say the organisers. “As a medium, she aims to provide evidence of life after life by getting links from loved ones in spirit for people in the audience with amazing accuracy in descriptions, personalities and all sorts of personal information, to give both confirmation and comfort.
She says, “I have been aware of spirit my whole life and so I have no doubt that we carry on after this physical life and my demonstrations are to prove the same to everyone else.”
All Floyd – Friday 31st May, 7.30pm
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of one of Pink Floyd’s groundbreaking albums, The Division Bell, which went on to sell more than an estimated 10 million copies worldwide.
All Floyd, an eight-piece band, have meticulously recreated the sounds and effects from the original album to convey the very essence of the original recordings and live shows.
“Talented and dedicated musicians and a highly experienced sound and lighting crew unite to produce an utterly live and enthralling show, befitting the artistic production of the totemic Pink Floyd,” say the organisers.
“This is definitely a show not to miss!”
