PREPARATIONS are underway for this year’s World Day of Prayer.
The service will be held on Friday 4th March, 10.30am at Melksham United Church, which is opposite Lloyds Bank on the High Street.
Organisers say, “World Day of Prayer is an international ecumenical organisation. The service this year has been prepared by women from England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
“The theme is, ‘I know the plans I have for you,’ which reflects on some of the issues facing us today, such as poverty, domestic abuse and disability, finding hope in difficult situations and encouragement in the help we can give to each other.
“Please come and join us.”
