Celebrations were recently held in Melksham to acknowledge long-serving members of Somerset Care’s home care team in Wiltshire.
An outstanding combined total of 230 years was recognised at the event, which took place at the office in Challeymead Business Park. There were so many recipients of long service that they struggled to fit everyone into one group photograph and ended up taking two groups.
Long-serving staff were presented with a certificate and token of appreciation by business manager, Jenny Futcher. Assistant director, Andrew Needham, also attended the event and gave a speech to thank the staff for their commitment and dedication.
Jenny Futcher said, “I would like to personally thank each member of staff for their hard work; 230 years’ combined service is a huge achievement.”
