TICKETS are on sale for Melksham Music and Drama’s 50th anniversary show ‘Cinderella,’ with shows on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Melksham Music and Drama group, who over the years have entertained local people with a variety of shows including the popular pantomimes, musicals, and dramatic pieces. This year’s show will see the cast perform Rogers and Hammerstein’s ‘Cinderella’ with Charlotte Brixton playing the Princess and Justin Haggett as Prince Christopher.
Shows will be at the Assembly Hall on Friday 6th September at 7.30pm and Saturday 7th September at both 2pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from Melksham Tourist Information Office, online via www.ticketsource.co.uk or via the Melksham Music and Drama Facebook page.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £7 for children/concession. An additional £2 will be added to the ticket price if purchased on the night.
Melksham Music and Drama said, “We are also inviting past MMAD or MCC members to join the current cast to celebrate the club’s 50th year together by opening the doors at 6pm for members of the group not in the production and ex-members!
“We are putting on a spectacular musical to thrill and entertain all of you! We will also be providing canapés and a glass of bubbles before opening night, as well as a display of past memories including photos, programmes and some clips of past shows to bring back some lovely memories.

This year’s production is being directed by Ali Turrell, produced by Kevin Hodges, with musical direction from Hannah Drury.
