MELKSHAM’S Royal British Legion recently raised £800 for the Poppy Appeal at a clairvoyance evening.
The event, led by medium Joanie Goddard, took place at the Conservative Club on Saturday 4th June.
Organiser Cathy Smith said, “The Conservative Club allowed us to use the hall free of charge, which I would like to thank them for. The medium for the evening, Joanie Goddard, also gave her services free of charge. I’m sure everyone who was there will tell you, she was brilliant and I really cannot thank Joanie enough. My thanks go to all those who donated raffle prizes and all who came to see a really excellent medium. You helped to raise £800 for The Poppy Appeal which is fantastic.”
