Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault which took place in Melksham.
At approximately 5pm on Friday 23rd September, a group of three women were in the High Street when they were approached by a group of four teenagers near to the Kings Arms.
One of the teenagers, a male believed to be aged between 16 and 17 years old, assaulted one of the women by slapping her across the face. The group then ran off laughing.
The victim who is aged in her 40s was not injured but was left shaken as a result.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of the High Street around 5pm on Friday and may have witnessed the incident, or who may have information which could help our investigation.
